Hello everyone,

It has been over a month since our first blog, and we’ve been a bit radio silent since then. This has to do with some matters that had to be sorted out before we could put more focus on SimpleSnakeGame.

We still are very exited about SimpleSnakeGame, but we could have been a bit more open towards our progress and the amount of time we can spend on the creation of the game.

Current state

Currently the game is in a very basic prototyped state. A lot of the basic mechanics are there, but the execution of these mechanics are a bit lackluster.
Our goal of creating a game before the 1st of October might have been a bit ambitious. The start between August and September has been very promising, but after that period the art and development has been a bit slow.

New Objective

Our new objective is develop more regularly, show everyone what we are working on and share our progress. We want to strive towards giving regular updates on our progress. This can be new assets that are created, new game mechanics or different things we work on.

We will not set a deadline for the current development of SimpleSnakeGame, in the hopse of easing the development process being able to work more on what we want.

On the of working on SimpleSnakeGame Albert has been working on many small samples for future projects, whilst Tjeerd has been working on some more assets. Those are things we would like to share more with you as well.

New content

A lot of content that we’ll be sharing will be on our twitter. But we’ll write a couple of blog posts of the different things we work on as well.
From the creative process of making textures to the complex cases of code that are used in game.

We hope you understand that we’re very eager to continue the development of SimpleSnakeGame, and that you will continue your support.
